Friday 29^th July 11 was Jim and Alison’s Wedding day and the very first Wedding I have photographed at the Church Restaurant Northampton. I must have passed this a thousand times and can’t believe what a fantastic venue this is for any wedding couple. With great staff and a beautiful setting the building has to be one of my very favourite venues in Northamptonshire to photograph.

This Saturday was a very special occasion for me as well as David and Michelle, it was so lovely to be able to photograph their wedding day in my home village of Roade. The service was held at St Mary’s the Virgin Church Roade and was conducted by the Rev Michael Burton. What made the day even better was the fact that it was the hottest day so far this year which was great as Michelle had organised for their journeys to be by horse and carriage.

Following the service the Bride and Groom were taken to the reception at Delapre Golf Club Northampton in the horse and carriage and were accompanied by Chloe and Casie the two Flower Girls.

Craig and Selina’s Wedding Celebration

Craig and Selina had chosen to hold their wedding and reception at the Cock Hotel Stony Stratford. You may well know the saying “Cock and Bull” and it is widely reported that the phrase originated at Stony Stratford ("The Jewel of Milton Keynes"), Buckinghamshire.

The Cock and the Bull were two of the main coaching inns in the town and the banter and rivalry between groups of travellers is said to have resulted in exaggerated and fanciful stories, which became known as 'cock and bull stories'. The two hostelries did, and still do, exist.

Yet again this year we had a beautiful sunny day for Craig and Selina’s celebration.

Sneak Peak to Joe & Sophie's Wedding Day

The day had finally arrived for Joe and Sophie’s wedding which took place at Towcester Registry Office. Thank goodness the weather behaved itself and after a rain filled morning the afternoon turned out great. It was great to see the surprise on Joe’s face when he saw his wife to be entering the ceremony escorted by a Piper, this most certainly made his day. It was then off to Milton Malsor for the reception held in a beautiful marquee on the outskirts of the village. Once the speeches were over the curtains behind the top table opened to reveal the stunning starlit dance floor, Sophie’s face was beyond belief as this was what she had been dreaming off.

We all met at the Calcutta Brasserie Indian Restaurant in Stony Stratford for Ria’s 1st birthday celebrations. I felt so privileged that you chose Jemini Photography to record this special occasion. What a warm welcome you gave me and I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely meal the restaurant served.

With friends and relatives travelling from all parts of the world this will be a celebration that I’m sure you will remember for years to come. Limelight Theatre School Northampton

I was so very lucky yesterday to be able to work with a great bunch of pupils at the Limelight Theatre School Northampton. It was the day of the dance exams and all the children had their photos taken as a little memento of this occasion. We had pupils ranging from 3 years of age right the way to adult dancers. Claire and James made the long journey to Liverpool yesterday to collect "Alfie" a beautiful 3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. What a little star he was, with all that had happened to him over the last 24 hours he has made himself completely at home and seems a very happy boy. I have been looking forward to this wedding so much, because I knew that it would be an absolutely beautiful event and I could not wait to work with this great couple. Imagine my delight when this little boy trotted into my studio. Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore Cavalier King Charles Spaniels as I have 3 of my own.

Little Darcy was just such a bundle of fun and it was great to be able to take these wonderful photo’s. We all know they don’t stay puppies for very long and what better way to remember that stage than to have a great set of photographs.
